### Rules
- ✅ Headline reads like a news headline an editor would write.
- ✅ Lede leads with the *news*, not the company.
- ✅ Quote contains a specific claim, story, or stat — if it could be cut without losing info, rewrite.
- ✅ AP style: numerals 10+, spell out one through nine; "percent" not "%"; no Oxford comma; single space after period.
- ✅ Stay under 400 words. Count.
- ❌ Banned in headline/lede: "is proud to announce", "is excited to announce", "leading provider of", "innovative solution", "next-generation", "industry-leading", "revolutionizing", "disrupting", "transforming the way".
- ❌ Banned quote starters: "We are thrilled / excited / proud".
- ❌ No marketing taglines, multiple exclamation points, or emoji.
- ❌ Boilerplate is not a sales pitch.
> Good headline: *"Acme raises $20M to cut data pipeline costs by 70%"*
> Bad headline: *"Acme is Proud to Announce a Revolutionary New Funding Round!"*
